Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Literate Lizard Online Bookstore. Following are the terms and conditions for our shipping policy. Note that we are online-only and do not have a physical bookstore for in-person pickup.

Domestic Shipping

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends and holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Media Mail has longer delivery time and is not insured.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed during checkout. If you choose to have the books shipped as they become available, the total shipping charge is likely to be higher than what is calculated during checkout.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur. We do not currently do any express shipping.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to certain countries. Please contact us before finalizing your order. The cost is somewhat pricy, and orders are usually shipped directly from the distributor warehouse.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Literate Lizard Online Bookstore is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as a customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us. You can login to the website at any time to check the status of the order and the tracking number.
